As radiator mounted load banks integrate with generator cooling systems, they allow heat to easily be dissipated without the need for a fan.
The lack of a fan makes them more space-efficient than many load banks, and they are particularly effective in applications like ballast loads and integrated loads.

Key features
Ballast load
A radiator mounted load bank makes it possible to add a ballast load on the generator when running with a light application load for long periods of time.
Increasing the load ensures efficient combustion and operation of the generator, preventing wet stacking issues.
Integrated load
Integrating a load into the generator package enables load tests to be run frequently and easily either with a smaller external load bank or without the need for an external load bank.
This means that, alongside managing ballast loads, radiator mounted load banks are also valuable where generators are installed in locations with limited accessibility.
Load step control
Radiator mounted load banks are offered with 2 load steps, each 50% of the total power rating. This provides an incremented step for the ballast or test load possible.
As an optional extra, load section contactors can be installed in the connection compartment for remote control of the load.
